About the Studio & Founders
Untitled Square is the creative collaboration between classically trained artists Lilia Davoodian and Alisa Barsegyan, who discovered a shared artistic language while teaching at a local nonprofit art studio. With backgrounds in fine art, their natural synergy led them from collaborative paintings to exploring functional art, eventually falling in love with clay after a pivotal trip to Armenia. Ceramics became a medium through which they could blend their painterly instincts with sculptural form, creating tactile, deeply personal work that reflects their passion for continuous learning and play.
Rooted in themes of impermanence, culture, and storytelling, their ceramic pieces merge fine art traditions with everyday functionality. The name “Untitled Square” captures their essence—open to creative freedom while grounded in shared structure and intent. Today, Untitled Square stands as a space where fine art meets modern craftsmanship, with each piece serving as a unique expression of their artistic dialogue. As they grow, Lilia and Alisa remain dedicated to evolving their practice while crafting meaningful, lasting works that connect artist and viewer in everyday moments.
